Need help formatting a 128GB microSD card for a raspberry pi
My son is trying to format a 128 GB microSD card for the raspberry pi he got for his birthday.
Windows being it's normal self does not recognize the drive.
Any help would be appreciated.

Acta non verba.
Windows isn't going to recognize the information on the SD card if it is already set up, because linux does things differently. When I worked with one from scratch, I just did a clean format then used win32diskimager to set up the OS I believe. Couldn't tell if it worked or not until I actually put it in the pi though(or if you tried running a VM with it I suppose).
This should have all the info you need for it.

Try getting into Disk Management - even if it doesn't show up as as drive in Windows, it should show up there if it's working properly.

Can I have your Tots
Would probably be easier to get a hypervisor like VirtualBox (Open Source and Free) and attach the MicroSD card to a Linux VM.
