I played a lot of Zelda and Goldeneye, but my favorite old game has to be 'Damage Incorporated'. This is the game that got me into FPS! I love the banter between the squad.

Two of the earliest favorites I have from my childhood would have to be Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy for PC, and the original Gran Turismo for PS1.

One that I wish was modernized/re-made is Command and Conquer Renegade (FPS). Was very planetside(ish) an obviously CnC themed.
They shall be Dark of heart and strong of body, untainted by doubt and unsullied by self aggrandisement.
They will be bright stars in the firmament of battle.
Angels of Death whose shining wings bring swift annihilation to the enemies of man.

Probably Halo 2, first introduction to the Xbox, have a lot of good memories split-screening the Campaign on Legendary with an old friend.
