Technical Issue

Hey, I was thinking about getting back into WT and saw AOD supporting this game but when I came back into it , it keeps saying “graphics driver hung lowering textures” I was playing in Max settings (SSAO off) and was getting 144-200 FPS and it randomly started doing that. I have a GTX 1060 3GB with a 210 core clock and 600 memory clock, any help would be appreciated since I really want to get back into the game!

No easy fix from what I've read.

A couple minor fixes that may work are the following:

Disable Nvidia Highlights - Set it to OFF (note: this has worked for people for only a short period)

At launcher set Render to openGL


Other than that, the only thing I see recurring in these problem posts is that people have overclocked their system. Is yours OC? If it is, try all of the above with no OC.

Obviously fresh clean install of latest drivers, as everyone always says & does first of all.

That's all I could find.

Thank you so much for helping me, it was my OC speeds which was causing the problem, what ended up happening was that for some reason my OC worked for every other game but world of warships and war thunder. To fix this I created a separate profile to where I have no OC on and it has fixed the problem and I’m getting more or less same performance. Again Thanks for your help!

No problem. Hopefully that fixes the issue longterm. A lot of posts were short term fixes, like the Nvidia Highlight setting. Some people tried all of those with no change, some had a 1 day or 1 game change. However, I noticed they all had OC their system. It's just a guess on my part so like I said, hopefully fingers crossed.
