    Default CPU / GPU temps?

    Hey guys/gals

    GPU Temps and CPU Temps...

    What are ok please?

    GPU - RX 590 8gb

    CPU - Zyrzen 2600x

(tried to google but as normal not making any sense)

As my rig is pumping out some right heat when playing Apex

I think the 590 starts thermal throttling around 95c... so ~80c while gaming should be acceptable. I don't like my cards running that hot though.

If you play with the fan curve in MSI afterburner or something, you should be able to get the temps down a bit. I use a pretty aggressive curve since I can barely hear the fans anyway.

Apex should have your FPS limited at 144 stock. I have removed the cap through launch commands, but in doing so my heat output went up around 5-10c average. If you have done the same, maybe consider removing the launch commands.

According to AMD, the max temp for the 2600x before thermal throttling is 75c. So gaming at 60-65c should be acceptable.

The main thing you can do is verify that you have optimal airflow in your case and make sure your PC has access to fresh air. For instance, having something solid blocking the front of the case would be a bad idea.

Can you show us a picture of your case/fans and post your max temps after a gaming session?

Perfectly fine. I have the same processor. Running slightly less than that with a EVGA CLC 280 AIO cooler. My GPU temps stay at or below 63c on my GTX 1080 SC.

If anything you'll just reduce the lifetime if you let them get to hot. I would say a cpu would be desirably be at less than 80 degrees celcius.
Your GPU shouldn't be going above 90 celcius either.

If you're worried about it, clean out your case and reroute your cables behind your back panel so you've got better airflow.
Replace the thermal paste underneath your CPU and maybe upgrade the CPU heatsink/ fan.
