I was wondering if there is a worth while free VPN out there. mostly because i cant afford to pay for software that isn't crucial..... like SYSTEM32 crucial.
I don't know of any free VPN's that are worth it. I'm actually pretty skeptical of any "free" VPN's out there. They have to generate some sort of revenue to offer their services... think about that for a second before you decide to use one.
I personally use PIA (private internet access) and it's worth every penny ($10/month or as low as $3/month if you prepay for 2 years [currently $84/2 years]). I haven't had 1 blip in the connection I've had to it's multiple servers worldwide and the new UI is so stupid proof a monkey could use it.
Just curious - why are you needing a VPN? You can PM me if you feel safer to discuss this privately.
Well, if you really want to try it you can get a month of PIA for like $10.
But I really wouldn't trust a free VPN.
Even Paid ones aren't great to the point I don't bother anymore.
im yet to find a VPN that just does what its supposed to do. Windows 10 has a feature you can use which is technically free but ive never bothered with that either if im honest
Can you elaborate on how paid ones "aren't great"?
I've never had an issue with PIA. If it ever goes down, it disables my adapter entirely so I just won't have internet access period so there's no chance of my data being compromised. That has never happened though. I've had no complaints after about 5 years of use.
