My guess is JJ Abrams will try to backtrack on as much as possible from Last Jedi, since it's become the most controversial Star Wars movie to date. Beyond that, I don't know. If they do some sort of time travel thing, it'll be the dumbest possible thing they could do. They'd be far better off just pulling a "previous movie was all just a bad dream el oh el" kind of thing, which would also be stupid.


I do find it funny how in the teaser trailer, it's backtracking on a lot of things. Kylo Ren smashed his helmet in the beginning of Last Jedi and now he's immediately repairing it, they're finally including the god damn Knights of Ren that they've teased for a long ass time.

I'm excited to see it be over with, but I'm worried that it'll be a complete mess. Last Jedi didn't really jive with Force Awakens, and I feel like Rise of Skywalker won't really jive with Last Jedi.

That's the only way I'd watch Episode 9, if they shitcanned the entire episode 8 and redid the entire thing. They have the set up already: Finn went into stasis to recover from the spinal cut. Oops! It was all a dream!
