World of Warcraft doesn't need much of an introduction as it was released back in 2004, and as i'm sure most of you know it was announced that they will be releasing servers for "World of Warcraft: Classic" which will take gamers back to the game as it was near release before any expansions were here. It is also interesting to note that it will be available to anyone with a current WOW subscription.
The division is going to be run by me with help from Rapsodia. But I am literally brand new and a PVP server is defiantly not something I am wanting to play for a while and not to mention with the full worlds and very long 1hr+ que times.. I am at a crossroads with this being a supported aod game and was told I have to be in teamspeak and cannot join other clans/guilds while in aod... this kinda sucks

Dont let the PVP portion of the server deter you. World PvP isnt really a big issue. Yes it happens, but not as often as you think.

I know it was discussed in my recruitment, but when i joined, wow division got shut down (i guess inactivity, i don't know tbh) But I guess I will have to make a choice

Oh man I loved WoW when it was released all the way up to Lich King..... not so much after that. I am considering this but I dont have WoW sub anymore and am not much of a PvP'r.

I thought it was silly that they shut down the WoW division anyway, what was the point?
I'm on Herod myself but may change servers after layering is over with. Congrats!

I just started wow recently for the first time, went with alliance elf hunter. if all goes well with division I may join part time, but will depend on time zones for players, didnt liked that much to play solo.

How has the Classic experience been so far? Is it just like the game was out of the box, or did they keep the graphical updates / fixes? I hope to be able to participate one day, lotta memories there. :-)

I have definitely enjoyed going back in time to my childhood <3 classic wow is awesome. every level is so much more rewarding. - Not sure if I'm ready to go to a PVP server though. If we end up doing a non PVP server I would definitely wanna join the guild.
