I've played a good amount of Squad (12 man), and I've really enjoyed it. Probably only way to get me to touch a Battle Royal game nowadays.

If you tried it last in the Beta, NightInfernalR, it is in a better spot. I play 12 man/Squad pretty much exclusively. Teams (3 man) is disabled atm anyways.
Why you should try it: 1) it is fun to run with AOD, 2) it is free, and 3) it is in a much better place then it was.
Are there Quality of Life Improvements they can make? Yes, plenty. Does the game need more content and modes? Yes. But is it fun to play now? In my opinion YES.
