Spawncamping and you

Guys, just to clarify spawn camping. There are grey areas, we understand that BUT the one thing is certain : IF YOU SPAWN CAMP - AOD is not the place for you.

PLANES :

Things that are okay :
Heading on aircraft to their spawn - You continuously "charge" the enemy and suddenly you are in their spawn. Probably by this time in a crippled aircraft.

Bomber Protection - The Friendly Bombers are bombing the airfield and are at 4000m - You are protecting bombers and are flying at 3500m. Any plane that climbs up to kill the bombers you engage. If the enemy stays low. You ignore them.

Things that are not okay :
Boom and Zooming their spawns (Bomber or Fighter in arcade). - Just don't do this.

A grey zone is:
Strafing the airfield ​- If the enemy is down to their last plane and that plane is sitting on the airfield refusing to take off, feel free to try and kill it (good luck against those AI AA guns.) If there are targets up in the battlefield area and you see a lone plane on the airfield, that is not acceptable, go fight the ones in the air (no duck hunts.)

TANKS :

Things that are OK to do:
Pushing the spawn - You've beat the enemies team and control all the objectives (capzones) so bad that there's no other place to go

Spawn sniping - Shooting long distances into the spawn (usually on more open maps or the C-point in Normandy up the hill outside the town)

Things that are NOT OK:
Spawn camping - Sitting in or behind the spawn without playing the objectives of the match and shooting defenseless players as they spawn in

A grey zone:
Spawn trapping - You're close to the spawn and sitting somewhere to camp the main exit of a spawn to kill people that are unaware you're camping the exit of the spawn

Rolling the spawn - You find yourself in the spawn and could spawn camp but instead roll through it even though you might get blasted by someone spawning in (for example in battle modes like break when a new spawn opened).
NOTE: You are using their spawn as a short cut. You are risking them spawning in, to save time. THE MOMENT you stop, You are spawn camping. You got unlucky. DO NOT SPAWN CAMP.


If we hear reports about an AOD member spawn camping, We will look at the server replays and we will act.
This violates multiple rules of our CoC and as a result will be dealt harshly.
