Clan AOD is Raising Money For Stack Up.org
Yes! that’s right! The AOD Stream Team and the Clan is going to be raising money for stack up this year. Stack Up is a Veteran’s gaming charity that our very own Deity is involved with.
What is Stack Up?
- Stack Up supports US and allied Veterans mental health through gaming and “geek” culture
- They improve morale and boost mental health by sending gaming equipment to Veterans abroad and at home
- Disabled or deserving Veterans are sent to gaming and “geek” culture events (Comicon; PAX) as VIPs
- They have a 24/7 suicide prevention chat channel so that anyone experiencing a mental health crisis can get assistance
The Clan AOD Stream Team will be doing a 24-hour charity stream on May 23rd on our channel at: https://twitch.tv/clanaodstream
However, this campaign is also open to any Streamer in the Clan. That’s right! You do not have to be part of the AOD Stream Team to help. We have created a team for Stack Up that you can join and help raise money on your personal stream.

I am going to make a broad comment. The reason Stack Up was chosen is because it is a charity that focuses on games as a means to help people. This is within our gaming organization's sphere of influence. This is also the first time AOD is doing something like this. If you have any questions as to why one charity was chosen over another, feel free to message myself or Deity and we will explain it to you in greater detail.
