Geekout Looking for some peripheral upgrades.

I am looking for some recommendations for some upgrades to my setup.

    What I am currently using:
    Keyboard: Corsair K55 RBG
    Mouse: Corsair Harpoon RBG
    Headset: Corsair Void Pro Wireless

Here is what I am looking for:
    Wireless RGB keyboard
Wireless mouse (RGB/lighting not a must)
Wired or wireless 7.1 headset with no mic/detachable mic
External Microphone that I plan on getting a desk arm and pop filter for. (I plan on doing streaming/podcasting this summer)

I would like to have them all one brand if possible (at least the mouse and keyboard so they match and look nice) Headsets I have no clue what to look for. I have heard good things from Sennheiser but have no clue where to start. The reason for wireless keyboard and mouse is that I HATE with a fiery passion having cables run across my desk and I just can't get myself to drill a hole in my desk as this desk was my dream desk (solid wood top sit/stand) and I don't want to hard commit holes in it.

Here are things I have available locally and with the current situation going on in the world, ordering online may not be an option for me and sadly, best buy is really the only option I have for pc anything. With that said, if I am able to get something off of Amazon somewhat quickly, I am always looking for things on there!

    Keyboard: (its a pricey one)
    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/corsair...?skuId=6360427

Mouse: (not 100% sure on because I am not the biggest fan of those crazy form factor style mice but it has a lot of features I do like)
    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitec...?skuId=6333841

Headset: (I feel like for the price, or just a hair more/less, there can be better options even if wired)
    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/logitec...?skuId=6360844

Microphone: (I feel like for the price, considering there is a new Yeti model out, there are definitely better options out there.)
    https://www.bestbuy.com/site/blue-mi...?skuId=6277347

I guess I should mention I play a lot of FPS games (Tarkov, COD, TD2, and so on) so having a good headset is a big must for me so I can hear where the baddies are coming from :)

Price/Budget is pretty much no issue as i will be buying once piece a month but I would say the prices for those 2 listed above are pretty much the top dollar I am looking to spend unless there is something absolutely amazing out there you guys can recommend.

    Thanks for all your help/recommendations!

If you're going for aesthetic, I would just get the Razer Viper Ultimate and your favorite Razer wireless keyboard or Logitech G Pro wireless and your favorite Wireless Logitech keyboard and call it a day. For headphones I wouldn't waste my time on 7.1 "gaming" headsets as they are a marketing gimmick. I would look into Audio-Technica, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic or other reputable quality headphone brands. Personally I care more about performance and consistency over aesthetic and would steer clear of "gamer brands" for the most part, but if you care more about aesthetics, just go with your average gamer brand such as Razer, Logitech, Corsair etc. and call it a day.

For headset, I've been extremely happy with this "Drop" edition from Sennheiser. It's "reasonable" $100, and I've used it almost 2 years with 0 issues.

For mouse, it's definitely a personal preference. I absolutely loved the mouse you listed (g502 lightspeed), but mine had double clicking issues, so I had to return it. I would think about buying it again post-corona, when potential returns will be easier. One thing to note, for some reason, the software used with that mouse is absolutely awful. It will take some time before you are able to configure it correctly and be able to use the settings you want between games (a bit of trial and error). I'm currently using a wired g502 with a cord bungee which works well.

Keyboard again, depends on what you need. I really love the feel of this ducky one 2 mini. I can play all day and it's still comfortable and responsive. $139

I don't know if it's me, but you got your links all mixed up (except for the microphone link).

Now, except for the microphone you have considered the exact same set of peripherals I currently have, so here's my small take on each of them:

1.- I wouldn't recommend the Corsair Virtuoso SE at all; it's a good headset if it wasn't for the plethora of issues it has. I recommend having a look at the corsair forums to see for yourself.

However, if somehow all these issues were to be resolved, I think it would be the best headset I've ever owned so far. Sound quality is great, the Slipstream technology is excellent and have very rarely experienced issues with it; I/O, iCUE Software and quality of the headset is great as well.

Perhaps Corsair releases a "second" version of the headset that addresses these issues, who knows?

2.- Logitech G502 Lightspeed, it's excellent but, be warned that the Omron switches it has tend to produce double-clicking issues a lot.

3.- Logitech G915 Lightspeed, I don't have any complaints about this keyboard, 100% recommended.

I just bought the G502 Lightspeed this week. My old G502 was having lag issues. I tried the Dark Core SE RGB first and didnt like the way it fit my hand. I LOVE this new G502. For me there was zero adjustment period. Its the same mouse without a wire and it works flawlessly so far.

I have the proteus spectrum. Love it. Kind of want to go wireless but a lot of money just to lose 1 cable. N decent wireless keyboard are ridiculously expensive so if I can't lose both cables what's the point ?

mouse and keyboard specifically are such a user preference, with that being said i've heard nothing but good things about the new Logitech wireless mouse. Keyboard i have heard mixed reactions to from personal users. I know corsair K25 and newer have been super well received, but I just got the new optical-mechanical black widow by Razer and i am in love both with the gaming feel and typing feel. my ONLY gripe is it is a bit louder than my old black widow with "silent" switches.

for headsets I've always and will forever be an ASTRO guy. I have the new A40's and will probably splurge and get the A50's (wired vs wireless) the next time i see them on sale. I worked for game stop for 12 years and received a LOT of free headsets over the years, and by far the MOST COMFORTABLE for long gaming sessions is this headset.

As for mic's... if you are streaming yes a yeti is pretty good for the price, but people who only stream i'm sure could offer better options.

The headset you picked is a closed-ear headphone. If you're playing FPS you want an open-ear headphone.
Headphones: Philips SHP9500 Hifi Precision Stereo Over-Ear Headphones
Why this: open sound scape which will help you hear exactly where the baddies are coming from in your FPS games, it's very high quality, stupid comfortable, used by many many streamers. Also, this headset is tuned to recess bass, neutralize midtones and emphasize trebel which is excellent tuning for your application
    On sale goes for $70USD
Another good alternative is the audio technica 700x - although between the two I chose Philips and have zero regrets after having tested both, these go on sale more frequently than the Philips though
here's a good source comparison on open back headphones if you want: https://sites.google.com/view/headph...nes?authuser=0

Mic: Samson Meteor Mic USB Studio Microphone, Cardioid, Titanium Black
Why this: High quality, picks up audio well loud or soft, it is attachable to almost any swing arm you can find
    Goes for about $70 USD

Adapter: FiiO E10K USB DAC and Headphone Amplifier
Why this: Its as small and compact as a wallet (minimized lost space) and very high quality, it will be more than enough and it's low profile. Also, if you have access to a USB port, it's portable.. meaning you can plug it right into a laptop or other USB device and start using it.
    Goes for about $75 USD

Arm: Any arm will do, really, though I recommend one with a padded clamp (to not scratch the desk), a shock mount to minimize wiggle, and a pop filter

Mouse: I use the G502 and it is the best mouse I have ever used bar nothing. Responsive, durable, comfortable, I can go on but you get the picture

Keyboard: I can't really speak to keyboards, though between the Corsair I bought for work and the Logitech I bought for home, I'll take the Logitech any day.
