Default Cannot get teamspeak to work

I have installed and reinstalled teamspeak 9 times. I finally got all the missing files installed but now I am getting a Unable to Start Correctly (0xc000007b). I have tried running as admin, I have ran CC Cleaner, I have ran trouble shooting through properties, and then I ran troubleshooting and i got a message that it was not compatible. I have Win10 Pro Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363 x64 and I downloaded the 64bit version of teamspeak.

I got some answers on teamspeak forums. Here they are:

I have downloaded this client 8 times and still cannot get it to work. 4 times it never started downloading. 1 time it froze on installation. 3 times it installed just fine but when I try to open it I get an error the code resolution cannot proceed due to VCRUNTIME140.dll was not found. Reinstalling might fix this problem. I have tried contacting support and they refuse to help and told me to go to forums.

    Try to install this.
    Microsoft Download Center
Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 RC

This update is the latest in a cumulative series of feature additions and bug fixes for Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable.

It is the official Microsoft package containing VCRUNTIME140.dll.
If this doesn’t help we will need further information like OS version (best including build number) etc.

I have already fixed it but thanks. I got another kind of .dll missing error and fixed it too. Now I am getting the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). I ran CC Cleaner thinking maybe it was a registry issue and still get this error. I have Win10 Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363.

Ok, so this should still be a dll related problem.
How exactly did you fix the first problems?
This error often occured when mixing 64 and 32 bit Programms / dlls.

This thread is old but should still be valid.

I have misplaced missing dll files. I have uninstalled reinstalled yet for the 9th time. I ran CC Cleaner. I ran as administrator. I ran troubleshooting steps through properties of the app.And I have ran compatibility and it came back not compatible.

Ah, yes, the almighty Windows 10. Latest and greatest piece of crap.

So you say you’ve fixed original problem with TS and you’re still unable to install it? If that’s true and still get this error, from what I’ve been able to find, please check for updates (both OS and components such as Graphics Card and other).

And if this won’t help, there’s also one more thing… Format that damn PC and be aware this might happen again, solely because Windows 10.

yeah I agree Win10 is garbage-especially if you are not a programmer. I LOVED Win7. Rarely had a problem and it was almost always real easy to fix if I did.

Formatting is out of the question. Been having issues with my external where I have my backups. Besides I am about to get a new laptop and I am seriously thinking about going with Fedora or Linux.

I am able to install it will ALL dll files but the oooooo7b error is still going on when I try to open it.I am searching for updates now for windows. There are no other updates otherwise.

I am going to try and do a clean boot. With these guys from what I am getting is either there is no fix they know of or there is no fix at all.

Well according to a programmer I spoke to the only fixes are:

    1. Boot in safe mode and see if it still happens.
    2. If it does run CHKDSK and after that SFC.exe.
    3. Try installing TS once more
    4. If all this fails format disk.

None of this worked for me and I will NOT format my hard drive just to install this broken software. Yes it is broken just google teamspeak issues and you will get plenty.

Try what got it workign for me,
I have to use my VPN to get it to work,
So if you have a VPN(or just try one for free) give that a try

I think this is definitely worth a shot, not sure what anvil did with you yesterday. If this was included in his troubleshooting or not.

Game is alreasy slow as is. Using a free VPN will make it unplayable. VPN connections are extremely slow unless you pay for one and even then it sometimes is still slow. I paid for one one time and after three days I deleted and asked for a refund becasue I couldn't even surf the internet it was so slow.

Wasn’t saying play the game m8, diagnosing you’re issue.

    Unsure who you used,
I use PIA, and I'm in Western Australia. with my VPN on and playing on the Oceania server my ping is 55ms(which is normal) and playing on the NA server its about 230ms(which is normal).
And thats on the other side of the world.
Maybe give it another try, or check out your other settings.
With my VPN on and checking my speed with speed test(in my home city) im 2-3ms and down/up speeds are no different.
Can't hurt to give it a try

If the game is already slow as,
Then maybe there are other underlying issues.
Check your drivers, do all updates
Are you running out of HDD/RAM?

my speed without VPN is 16ms which is much better than any free VPN I have ever used (best being 36ms) and I have used a lot. Download and upload speeds are usually around 55 mb/s without and 18 mb/s with. Besides my parole officer has fits when I use TOR or VPN. She loves to be nosy and very demanding including making me violate criminal laws and court orders.

There are no updates unless I completely rebuild my laptop which I do not have the time, money, or patience. My RAM is anywhere between 12% and 44% but ever since the update for some reason it has been much higher (about 56-75%). Teamspeak wasn't working before the update and I have read many complaints about teamspeak not working and/or giving same or similar errors. From what I have read Teamspeak5 has been created to fight these issues and should be released sometime this month. I wish I could remember where I read that.

36ms with a VPN is still pretty good. Depending on where your connecting too, it shouldn't drop your Down/Up speeds that bad(I take it your not using Adsl2+)

"Besides my parole officer has fits when I use TOR or VPN."

    And on that note,
    I'll leave it there

Lol. Yeah she is a piece of work. Doesn't help I am suing her and her supervisors. I have never heard of Adsl2+. I will check it out. Realy do not want to do too much on this laptop since I am getting a new(er) laptop in a week or two.
