The event is open to all AOD members regardless of division

The tournament will be made up of up to 5 teams. The first 30 applicants will be given a spot on the team. All additional applicants will be added to the waiting list.

    Tournament Rules

*We request that all participants choose at least 2 roles they can play to give flexibility in team selection
*Standard CoC is to be followed at all times.
*Players will be sorted into teams algorithmically based on their role (support/dps/tank) and their most recent SR.
*Teams will face off against each other in a Round Robin format (each team will play against every other team at least once).
    * Teams will take turns choosing maps; one team chooses the game mode (i.e. hybrid mode) and the other will select the map (i.e. King's Row). No maps will be played more than once.
*2/2/2 role lock will be used
    *Standard Overwatch competitive rules apply.
    * Fill-in's will be selected if needed based on the nearest SR and role to keep the game as balanced as possible

Everyone loves to win a prize!
The winning team will earn bragging rights and a unique forum badge and Teamspeak icon.

Want to lead your team to victory?
FANTASTIC! We would love for you to sign up to be a team captain. As a team captain you are expected to schedule at least one practice session before the tournament.
Once the teams have been selected you will be expected to reach out to your teammates to inform them and sort out practice sessions. If you have issues with this feel free to contact Cpl Haggis

    Additional rules
    Spoiler

DISCORD is required for ALL participants! If you are not on Discord, please speak with an NCO for assistance. Your Team Captains will be contacting you this way!

Don’t harass the casters: The Casters are our guests and are to be treated as such. We want them to feel welcome during their time casting.

Don’t spam chat: Try to keep as much communication as possible in Teamspeak.

Show good sportsmanship: This is a competitive environment but overall it is a fun one if you lose, you lose. Don’t blame your team, comments like, we lost because Brunty is a scrub will not be tolerated! Equally, if you win, win gracefully, typing GG EZ and tea-bagging in game is not acceptable. This event will be streamed, so your behavior reflects on the entire clan.

Adhere to the clear comms rule: If an officer steps into your channel and says ‘clear comms’ it is time to be quiet and listen, they may have important information for you to follow. There is the potential for a lot of people in one channel so push to talk is, as always a requirement.

All AOD Code Of Conduct rules apply at all times during the event and in all team practice sessions.

By signing up, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the rules and expectations.
