That's what I was thinking of.
So I guess my only question is when should I time to make these purchases if I'd like the build ready by Feb 2021? Also, no idea how I'm going to get ahold of a 3080 anytime soon.

Might as well wait and ask again in December or January if you're not building until 2021. 4th gen ryzen will be out by then.
Also get an 850 watt. It's what nvidia recommends. You don't really need it but you're buying new so what's $10.

with these new GPU's there will probably have driver issues s, there is no point in paying above MSRP for hype, and then getting a product with issues.
Valid point! maype even DDR5 ram
So, I want to switch out my stock AMD cooler for an AIO. I noticed a while ago that my temps were a bit higher than before, and I don't want them getting any hotter. This is also, obviously, for the aesthetic.
I had considered putting it at the top, but I don't think I'm gonna have the clearance. I could get the single fan version, but I hear they suck at cooling, and the pump head isn't RGB(GASP!) which would make it pointless to switch out really. So that leaves me with putting either a 280 or a 360 in the front. I prefer the 360, so I just need to decide which one. I know this "little" operation will require me to clean the existing thermal paste off the CPU, and I'm prepared for that. Question is, if I go with the preapplied paste that will be on the pump head for the AIO, or try to put on my own. TBH though, I'll probably go with the preapplied stuff. I know it sucks, but this is gonna be nerve wracking enough for me as is.
Hokay, so!
I have this case:

And I am considering one of these:

Obviuously, I want a Corsair AIO so it syncs up with the rest of my lighting. But which one?
EDIT: Yes, I know it's dusty, cleaning soonest!
Ok! Great time to upgrade, any how I would 100% recommend the hydro series, its one of the best, it doesn't come with RGB, but you can use the fans that you already have, on the radiator so that u can get all that RGB goodness. As for thermal paste, I know that it can be nerve wracking but I definitely recommend going with after market. A pea size drop is all
Äs for installing everything it should be easy since you got a lot of room in your case. Also Corsair makes it easy to install. Btw be careful when you take off your existed cpu cooler, because sometimes the thermal paste can fuse with the cpu and I'm sure you do not want any bent pins.
You have a very nice lookin build btw!
If I may suggest?

I have no complaints about this SSD. Computer boots in about 3 seconds. xD
Lol, not really an RGB fan myself, I just want the system to work.
It's my ADD/ADHD xD
That might bend the pins if you do it in the scoket. Once its unlatched you will be able to tell if its fused or not. If it is, I recommend to not try to separate the cpu in the socket, but gently take it out with the cooler.. Then apply heat with like a hair dryer to make the termal paste into liquid, then use a floss wire to create some separation. Finally you should be able to twist it out.
