Hi, I currently play on a 5 year old gaming laptop. The 3.5mm mic connector isn’t working anymore. I’ve been using a crappy work USB headset but have been wanting to change it. Do you have any recommendations on how I could use my gaming headset (is there a decent 3.5mm to usb adaptor that works or should I get a usb headset. Do you have any recommendations?

I'm not too sure about adaptors, I'd have to look em up. As for a headset:

I've had this one since I built my computer back in February and have no complaints. Yeah, it's a wired headset, but it's only 30$ and its been great.
