Been an AMD user for years, sadly some things use Nvidia GPU only , so when I was looking for a new laptop I bought one with Nvidia and Intel.
AMD has adrenalyn software, I can record my games, create instant plays, configure my gpu and other things with it, etc. I had high hopes for the Geforce Experience... so imagine my susprise when I crashed with that "requires ya to be log in"... While I have not really problems with creating an account, the fact that I have to do it to get access to a software like this for a piece of hardware that I paid good money for... all that while AMD gives me free access... its horrible.
So those who have it. Is it worth it?

I second this. I have no idea what my account does for me, but it was painless and the software is just fine.

I have no experience with the AMD software but the GeForce Experience software does everything you mentioned and in a quick access, easy to use interface in my opinion. I'm sure it's really just about the same as the AMD software with a different skin. Personally I enjoy it for quickly taking screenshots and manually recording with the hotkeys.
