Hey so my buddy just bought a new pre built and wants his other one gone. $500 and it is mine. Needless to say I bought it for a spare but was wandering what yall think about it.
I7-4390k
GTX 1080
Corsair vengeance 16gb 3600MHz
Some fractal design case (I have others so this wasn't something I cared to much about)
A corsair AIO (forget which one but if I really had to I would drop 20$ on a decent air cooler)
650w PSU Corsair
I do not know what the mobo is but it ran perfectly fine and I do not plan to use it for anything for gaming for the kids as a good starter pc and do not plan op OC the cpu (maybe after a few months cause its how I am)
What do yall think? $500 worth? I honestly feel with how the shortage of everything is going the GPU alone is what dragged me to say "TAKE MY MONEY!"

Correction the 3600MHz is his new system, this one has DDR3. He doesn't know the speeds but oh well

If you meant 4930k I'd probably grab it. Processor will still more than play anything out there. GPU is still pretty powerful for 1080p 144hz.

I would say yes. In the future if your looking to upgrade i would start with the cpu and mobo. If you switch to amd you future proof your system better than Intel imo and usually amd cpus come with a cooler in the package besides their higher end chip. Looks pretty solid overall
