Sea of Thieves Pirates Life Showcase Watch Party

Hey all!

Today Rare will be premiering A deep dive look into the new Pirates Life and Sea of Thieves update. They will speak about their links with Disney and the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, the elements of the new season, and the exciting new tall tale adventure we have all been waiting so impatiently to learn more about. We have made a special channel in the Sea of Thieves division where we will be hosting a watch party.

The watch party will start at 2pm Eastern today June 20th but we will be streaming and getting hyped up for a few hours leading up to the event. Come on down and find us in the Sea of Thieves division in the watch party channel.

Is the new content any fun?

As a diehard Disney fan, I have been thoroughly enjoying it. Without spoiling it too much, the first of the 5 tall tales sounds and feels like it came straight out of the POTC ride at Disney World. In fact, I'd put money on them using the actual sound bites from the ride.

It's a nice contrast to the other things done in SOT. More Goonies-like, puzzles to solve. Worth your time, if you like that sort of thing.
