Hey all,
This is a long shot.. but im trying to find a cable to connect my new 8T hard drive. I ordered it online and thought ( foolishly ) that it would come with the cable to connect it to the motherboard and power supply but you all know what happens when you "Assume" something... lol .. I have tried to look locally but so far nobody has any in stock. Id be willing to E-Transfer some funds if someone is willing :)

Your power supply should already have a connection for your HDD. You should only need a Sata Cable to connect to the motherboard. Amazon has a lot in stock.

yes thast the name of the cable lol.. I always forget what the name of it is lol... thank you ill check that out as well. are there different types of Sata Cables ? or are they all the same ?

There are different types but most of the ones you'll find nowadays will work.

i found a youtube video on how to do it lol.. ill attempt to follow it when i go to install.. my next quest is to find some screws. Im sure i have some sitting around here somewhere.

With USB cables to prevent having a short in the cable and damage the port or cable ensure the usb cable is no longer than 6 feet.
