Been unable to play BF4 for the last few weeks because of a DirectX GPU error called GetDeviceRemovedReason. Game will play fine for about 10 minutes with no issues, and then it freezes. Tried a bunch of things, from reinstalling the game, drivers, compatibility mode, but nothing works. Anyone ever had this happen to them? I'm running a 6800XT with Win10.

I was getting device error hung crashes too with BF4. The thing that fixed it was setting a frame rate cap. I set mine to 175 FPS since I use a 170Hz monitor.

I had mine fps capped to 145, just one more than my monitor. Lowered it to 143 and managed to play through one round, so seems like it at least helped.
