    Default Update and New Country

    Good Morning or Afternoon AOD Members wherever you are,
    Today is October 28th and today is the update for Warthunder. That means a few new Vehicles and planes and more importantly....A new Country to play. ISREAL!!!!
    However, don't get your hopes up too much. After I updated and looked at what they did and brought in, I'm am NOT impressed. First off....IF you want to play Isreal, you're gonna have to pay for it. They only have, from what I've seen, NO Tanks and only TWO planes. And you have to BUY the packs for those two planes. The Spitfire LF Mk IV Weiz(5.3 AB/5.7 RB) cost $29.99 US Dollars and the A-4E(8.0 AB/8.7 RB) costs $59.99 US dollars. I was REALLY looking forward to Isreal but I'm not willing to PAY that much money just to play the nation. My personal opinion is that they should have brought planes and Tanks in you could actually use and grind and also bring g out the packs and let us, the people who are paying for Premium time decide whether or not to BUT the packs.
    I think this is a failing on Gaijen and a little greedy. Just my opinion of course.

    Weird because Isreal used a bunch of Bf109G which didn't get put in their section. (The Czechs sold their share of the loot because they were standardizing on Soviet stuff)

    This is usual gaijin programme. When they release a new nation, first off a couple of premiums to buy. the next patch they usually add in a tech tree that you need to buy into (either the premiums or the missions) to get into from the get go, or you can do the missions (one star every 2 days or so and if you get 10/12/15 whatever the amount is, you get access to the tech tree), or if you donīt do either of those, they slowly unlock the tech tree rank-by-rank to everyone after a while. Then rinse and repeat with the other side of the tech tree (tanks/ planes, whichever they add)

    A nice thing about the Israeli captured tanks is that they upgraded them.
    They were not pure copy/paste tanks.

    Too bad we'll never see NLOS ATGMs :(

    Not what I'm used to. I have been here 6 years now. Most every new nation that I have seen introduced has always started with reserve vehicles (France, Italy, etc.)
    I agree with Mhare. Total fucking greed and obviously a new business model. I won't be going to Israel, ever!

    I'm assuming they'll do like Italy and make the Israeli stuff on the US tree available also on the Israel tree (while hiding it on the US tree so people can't buy it anymore). So I guess if you're a fan it's a good time to buy all the Merkavas.
