    Default Gaming Mouse

    Hi there,

I am looking for a new mouse. I have a Logitech G502 Proteus. I like the look and feel but I want something that isn't Logitech because I've had lots of problems with it.

What do you think is a good gaming mouse?

I've had a Razer DeathAdder for years and love it. No complaints and I use it with a mix of different games. Simple and costs under $50.

I had a Razer DeathAdder (2006) for many years until I broke it during an event (basically an earthquake). Then I had a Corsair Scimitar for a few years as well as some Microsoft and Logitech products which were all OK. One was too heavy, the other inaccurate and another didn't have a nice ergonomics.

Last year I got a Razer Viper and I'm loving it for everything (except MMORPGs)

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd recommend the Razer Naga. Takes a little bit to get used to having a 12-key on your mouse, but for me it's now weird to not have one. MMOs are hella easy with it, and you can use the keys for other things too.

Quite honestly, the comfort of the mouse is going to depend on your hand size and grip type. One of the best approaches is visiting a store or two and checking out the displays, see what really feels right. Then ask us advice on the one or two you like and go from there.

Razer Basilisk is basically the exact same shape as the logitech g502. Also has laser switches which are amazing. Basilisk X doesn't have laser switches and takes batteries.

The r/MouseReview sub on Reddit is great for getting detailed info on all the latest mice. They're pretty helpful if you give them your hand measurements (see Rocket Jump Ninja's videos or website on how to take those) and playstyle.
