Hi there,
I am looking for a new mouse. I have a Logitech G502 Proteus. I like the look and feel but I want something that isn't Logitech because I've had lots of problems with it.
What do you think is a good gaming mouse?

I've had a Razer DeathAdder for years and love it. No complaints and I use it with a mix of different games. Simple and costs under $50.
I had a Razer DeathAdder (2006) for many years until I broke it during an event (basically an earthquake). Then I had a Corsair Scimitar for a few years as well as some Microsoft and Logitech products which were all OK. One was too heavy, the other inaccurate and another didn't have a nice ergonomics.
Last year I got a Razer Viper and I'm loving it for everything (except MMORPGs)
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I'd recommend the Razer Naga. Takes a little bit to get used to having a 12-key on your mouse, but for me it's now weird to not have one. MMOs are hella easy with it, and you can use the keys for other things too.
Quite honestly, the comfort of the mouse is going to depend on your hand size and grip type. One of the best approaches is visiting a store or two and checking out the displays, see what really feels right. Then ask us advice on the one or two you like and go from there.
I'm using a G903 and I'm loving it
I've been using the Razer Basilisk Ultimate and love it;
But before people can give you a 'good' recommendation a few questions are needing to be asked (then answered :P)
1 - BUDGET without knowing this we can recommend mice that are several hundred $$ (Like my Razer Basilisk Ultimate for example) :)
2 - Wireless / Non Wireless?
3 - Amount of buttons?
I'll check back here when I See a reply to help ya further :)
Thanks friends!
I was actually able to get Logitech to replace my G502 because they said the hardware failure that caused me to need a new mouse is caused by a manufacturer defect. So...that sorted that! Appreciate each of your thoughts and input. Love this community.
I am pretty much a Razer mouse guy. I have 6 different Razer mouses and still my favorite is the DeathAdder elite.
I like my wired Logitech G400S. Reminds me of my now deceased Logitech MX518.
I like the Razer Naga from 2013.

The r/MouseReview sub on Reddit is great for getting detailed info on all the latest mice. They're pretty helpful if you give them your hand measurements (see Rocket Jump Ninja's videos or website on how to take those) and playstyle.
