Eight years after being announced, PlanetSide 2 has gotten its first new continent since 2014 and a new front has been opened in the Auraxian War on the archipelago of Oshur. This new warzone respresents the combined efforts of all factions in the continuation of the conflict, with task forces of fleet carriers launching combat operations, new base and facility types, as well as new equipment and a playable campaign centered around the new medium for battle - sea.
