    Default War Thunder VR

    Hello gents,

I am thinking of getting a VR headset for the AIR RB and getting into Air Sim as well and would like to know what the optimal VR headset is for WT.

    Hi,
don't know about optimal, but the Reverb G2 is okay (controllers are horrible, but not needed for sim). Good resolution and reasonable fov.
But you need a good graphics card. My RX 2070 is on the lower end of feasibility, I'd say.
The other thing is, TrackIR and a good Monitor will let you spot targets/planes much better, but you just don't get the same immersion.

This probably isn't the most helpful, but VR is in a weird place at the moment. We're kind of in a limbo state between two generations of VR hardware. I'm not sure I would recommend buying a new headset just yet. Though If you need one now there are a couple options (such as the Quest), I don't recommend spending a fortune on last generations best headset though.

I've been thinking about trying VR, but now I think I'll wait for the next gen...so this was VERY helpful.
