Damn brother, I thought this was going to be a challenge, lol. Yup, it was time to replace my Vega 56 for the 7800 XT.

I went from a 3060 back to an amd gpu a few months ago, never looked back. AMD is really bringing the heat in their 7000 cards.

Maybe I shouldn't have responded lol. I'm a pretty die hard enthusiast. Knew right away by the fans and power layout. Also the fact nobody in their right mind would buy a 7700xt lol.

Yea, the 7700 XT is out of the question, being so closely priced to the 7800 XT. Problem is, since there's no real pricing competition at the medium range, AMD is quite happy to leave the 7700 as is, for now.

In my humble opinion, at least where I live, AMD has been the better bang for your buck for a long time now. Unless you going for the high end nVidia cards to take advantage of the RT performance. Dependes where you live though. In the US, I believe you get better deals on the nVidia cards, but still, when it comes to anything lower than a RTX xx80, I would go AMD, IMO.
