With some of the new EAC updates, it has caused some AOD members to get the blue screen of death upon trying to load into battlefield2042 and potentially other games.

I found this fix through the BF official forum and it has worked for AOD_YuDiE and AOD_Ryoda.

Windows security -> Device security -> Core isolation -> Turn on memory integrity (toggle off/on if already on)

Hope this helps anyone else if you come across this problem.

Another setting in that Core isolation section is Kernel-mode Hardware-enforced Stack Protection. As of a year ago, enabling it (which was the Windows 11 default setting at the time) caused noticeably lower FPS in many if not most games. Don't know if Microsoft has resolved the issue, but as of now I still have it set to Off.

Good point and completely accurate! This is definitely worth keeping in mind for those of us noticing fps drops in game.
