I did this life a long time in the military. I've been under fire dragging someone back...I have Para-jumped into as combat zone to get someone...I have patched up a lot of our boys from being hit by Bullets, Shrapnel, and the occasional scrapes and cuts from trees, rocks, and what not. I have seen more blood not only from our boys, but from civilians and children. I have laughed with those I served with...I have cried with them when we lost a friend in the field. I, like so many others, have longed for home when we were deployed thousands of miles away from our loved ones. And we cried tears of joy when we arrived home to see our wives and children. I do not regret my choice of becoming a Combat Medic and would do it again if need be.
Please Remember that Combat Medics need respect and love as well.
