What kind of day? Good day? Bad day? Or just A DAY?
At a loss for words today.
Just finished reading 8 months of replies here. A surprisingly small amount of content for such a long span of time. Saw some first-time posts of people who already aren't in a division anymore. Crazy.
People say games are dead too often and too soon. CoD is like Madden: habitual, predictable, familiar. It's the same game every year, regardless of the changes. Many shooters pop up, but most are tactical shooters, hero shooters, or extraction shooters. Most steer clear of CoD, the fat unicorn Arcade shooter. Aside from the vaporware xDefiant, Caliber might be the only other one. I'm not 100% sure those are still in the same vein, given the class/ability system in xDefiant, but I also don't recall the beta much. I barely dabbled in Caliber. Maybe counter-strike? I don't know anything about it because the idea of buying guns based on performance always felt weird.
This is how I stay connected to AOD cause I love being here and want to stay connected whether it's short or long winded.
It's something to keep in mind once this CoD game dies. I have to decide between buying another lousy game and spending my limited spare time on it to hang out with people I like but have little time to chill with and getting booted for inactivity/lack of division. The console focus and annual release are terrible things for a multiplatform community to deal with.
I've come to enjoy AOD and all it's offered me past, present, and future. If your location is right hawkinson....Think you're one of the first Montanan's I've met on here. Is that Montana, USA?
Keep in mind that AOD now has a number of supported divisions that are initially free or lower cost than most titles. If you find yourself without a 'home' you can always pick up one of those games and change your full-time division to that. This will allow you to keep your member status. Also, keep an eye on the Division Request forum for new titles we are looking to expand into and see if any peak your interest. Even better, if you hear of something interesting being developed, start evaluating if it would be a good fit for AOD and see if there is interest in getting a division up and running.
Thank you Nakisanye and Rywo. :D.
Being part of AOD means you are part of ALL of AOD. If you play a game we have a division for... hop into those channels when you feel like and say hi. All our divisions are VERY welcoming even if you're just starting out with an established game. We also have Misc. TS channels and Misc. Games discord section. If there is a game you are playing and looking for folks to run around with that we don't support as a full time division... those are the areas to look. If there isn't a TS channel and you would like one, ask any Sgt. or higher. They can make temporary channels.
You would formally apply to a different division if you spend a majority time playing that and less (or none) playing your current. I would guess a LARGE percentage of us are always jumping around games (both supported and not). Personally I'm part of the BattleBit division currently though I also embarrass myself in World of Warships quite often. I also play New World from time to time and currently have been on a survival/craft kick and playing Nightingale (hence the channel under Misc.)
Best advice, even if you're not playing a certain game... feel free to hop in channel with folks and chat. Just be sure you're not interrupting a stream or talking over battle comms.
I wasn't even aware of the MIsc channel.
You don't have time to be aware. Or more likely the access.
Mind=blown

Opps! I looked!
Thank you for looking. :P :D.
Fire, I see you out here doing the forums proud, but what is going to lure you back in to the fold of the voice comms and game playing?
