Thanks for this. Cheating is the #1 issue with FPS games IMO. What clued me in on the extent of it was an epiphany I had a while back. Every time a new popular FPS game would come out, I would be competitive for the first couple of weeks with a KD anywhere between 1 to 2. Meanwhile, the cheat makers would be developing their code for the new game. Within a month, the average shooter in the field suddenly had way better aim. When I kept playing, little by little my KD would drop below 1. I didn't suddenly get worse at aiming, and the average player didn't suddenly get better at it.
