In the clan since Dec 2014. untainted by doubt and unsullied by self aggrandisement.......good post. Only annihilation of those in the way of AOD will be the end result.

Hey guys, I just joined up the pCars division :)

I used to be in AOD back in circa 2001-2003 playing CS. Anyone here from those days remember me? I don't remember much from then, there was too much smoke around lol

I was big into Swat3 back in the day, I wasn't in AOD at that time, but I can remember seeing the lobby they had set up in the multiplayer menu. At that time I was Co-Ldr of a clan called NSF (National Swat Force) and remember playing against ICE. It's funny how unimportant certain things seem until years pass and you realize the significance of a small moment in time.
It's just by chance that I joined AOD from the PS2 division, but reading AODs history brought back a lot of memories for me.

I can say without a doubt it is an privilege to be here, this clan has so much history, i am proud to be a member of AOD. "Honor, no matter how dire the battle never forsake it".

Default Going back to NAA and <RoB>

The thought of checking whether RoB was still around popped into my head and this is about as close as I could find. I am (was?) "<RoB> Blackhawk." I joined NAA not too long before it became Regiment of Brothers. Regardless of the politics that led to its existence, NAA/RoB was a great group of guys. I see that many came back to AOD.

Don't have much to say besides that I hope old friends are well. Time really flies.

I've been in a few clans in my day and after reading the story of AOD, I think its great how you decided to take the step forward and keep the clan going. I've been in clans on and off and like most after a game seems to fade out or something new comes along and the clan either disbans or people start jumping ship into other clans because they cant agree on what to start playing next. And sometimes its attitudes that get in the way, but by far, clan AOD has expanded it looks like and could possibly continue forever. the diversity in games that a member can be a part of is kinda unheard of back when I was a lot younger and playing CS Beta on up to 1.6, then I took a hiatus from clans as the one I was in kinda just died, people moved and so on. I'm sure you seen a lot of clans come and go around you and for you 2 guys to stick it out and build something like this today I think is great, keep up the good work, and its a joy playing Battlefront with you guys when I see AOD in a game, even if it is on the opposite side.
Maybe, just maybe, I might apply to join the clan... Im kinda old now and not that good as I once was... but hey... the camaraderie is what I like most about being in a clan...

To believe that this clan existed when I was 5-6 years old is SO bizarre now that I'm almost 23.. I wasn't a PC gamer until very recently but if I was, you could bet I would've joined years ago! To be part of a clan with so much history is awesome! To mark my name in AOD's history would be an amazing feat, I'd like to achieve!

To see that 2 guy inherited a clan created by a 14 years old (Not that the age matter or anything) , I wonder if he ever came back in contact with either Lividum or Smoke at one point. Anyway, glad to be part of this!

Being as I read the history on a whim, I'm glad I did. It's got a rich history for being as young (compared to other things) as it is. I'm glad I've personally moved on from other clans, outfits, guilds etc.

To read also the words of other AOD members prior and current is awesome. Though as DrummerCed put, I'd love to write my name in the books of AOD as well.

Not to seem as though I'm kissing butt here, but this should be required reading for recruits. Yes, it's a little fragmented, but the over all feel of the clan is captured. The newcomers won't get what AOD means and stands for by just hopping around game to game. A few may not even understand why it's important to be familiar with the history. Is this nerdy, absolutely. But it's more about being part of something larger than yourself even if it's only important to nerds and gamers. You worked very hard at keeping the wheels on the bus. You should be proud to have lasted as long as you have with no end in sight. Thank you for inviting me. I'm enjoying it immensely.

Honestly the ranking doesn't feel like the strict thing you'd think it'd be. Everyone is too much like family tbh. And I love it!

I was a member for quite a few years, even ran a few servers for the BF division back in the day when I was running some game server hosting companies, and working with DICE. The Clan went through a few splits, watched a few former members split off, start another clans and watched those clans fail, and several try and come back. Seen a few mergers too. Was around when one of the founders stepped down, I think that was Livid? One constant through all of that and that was AOD. I remember when we were around 600-700 members, then 1000, then 1200. Now you guys are up to 2000. WOW! That is awesome!

I came on around BF2. Made it all the way up to SGT in BF2142. Even helped run it for a very very very short time with Commanche when our XO and CO left, till we could fill the spots. Then life came up on me, and things got busy, the home computer started getting turned on less and less (I was on my work computer all day, doing my day job and running the game server company, and handling the BF division servers (and for a short while the clan forums, website and vent) and didn't have time or want to be around a PC when I got home). I stepped down to CPL. It got to the point where I had all the games when they came out, but spent so much time working with DICE, EA, CS, and the game server companies, I only got maybe one or 2 hours in playing BFBC2, BF3 and BF4, and most of that time was for testing, or problem fixing. I look back on that, and realize now I have over 220 games on Steam. I've played 1 or 2 of them. Most I got for free cause of what I did, but still I realize I spent all that time working on the games instead of playing with my friends at AOD. Then the games that were coming out were far more sophisticated then my PC. So with all of that I took a LOA, around the same time the BF3 division shut down while waiting for BF4. Came back and found I was naked... I was missing something from my name. All new people, names I didn't recognize anymore, and a lot of names I did recognize were also missing that AOD name. Realized I am an old fogy in game standards (only 35 lol).

Now I have a kick arse PC, and I think I am going to start playing all those games I've had for a while. Still doing the testing, but taking a break from the game server hosting so I can play.

A lot of this is superficial and I had a very small part of the BF division, but looking back on those years, 2005-2012, it is history, and it is a part of AOD's history. I know there were several other divisions at the time, but BF is the only one I remember :) (and one of the few constant divisions through the years). Here's to Battlefield!

    War2g
    JayTrain
    Commance45
    Apache
    BigBen
    GodsHands
    Bird
    BlueExodius
    Unforseenhunter
    Weasell
    Dukeferman
    Grassmaster
Drac *yeah i know but he was there*
    khc
    Reese
    TheTool
    Uxmal
    Darkn3ss Falls
    ShaggyTDawg

I know there are a ton that I am missing, but its almost 2am. I have a list of all of you somewhere and will update when I find it.
Battlefield 2 - What a great crew we had. For anyone looking to join AOD, you won't find a better home than this. Just watch out for Stud... that guy is questionable. Just can't keep his hands too himself.

Such a rich history AOD has, it warms me to see it even bigger now than when I was in. I joined backed in 2003 under D@ywalker in the jk3 division and left sometime after the Source division folded. I spent time with some of the best people I have known and we had such a blast. Late night jk3 duels, Star Wars Battlefront carnage, SWG grinding, competing in cs:s Cal league; I think it's safe to say I have played with some of the best gamers and it's all thanks to AOD. Thank you so much, everyone, for making AOD pretty damn awesome.

wel li think i kinda remember you sworn but i think you got there right before i stopped playing i know i heard auddie talk about you (hes my bro) but i can't remember if i ever played a match with you.... but MOHAA was a good time and i enjoyed ever minute (i know stud and spike din't lol i frustrated people) but i had fun with Uncle same and jittow and the others so meany aod i can't name them lol( bad memory for me lol) when auddie stoped playing (he misses MOHAA) and MOHAA died from hackers and cheats and skins i think wow started up around that time not sure we did no have a lot of games (me and auddie shared 1 cpu so most the time he played) but i did not want to play WOW as it was and is pay to play and i did not see why i had to pay 60$ for a game and then 140$ every year to play a game i purchased (till i bought it and man i had fun lol) but after that i worked to much did not have time to play and just faded away but MOHAA will alway bring good memories and good times lol AOD4life!!

    Default History for me

So the history for me as i remember...

Well my new name is obviously that of which i'm using, but my old name back when i was in highschool and gaming alot before being an adult caught up, was Vasili. I joined originally back in i believe early 2008 all the way through 2010 before going into the service. Main game i remember playing then was America's Army (AA - The original), and Joint Ops! Thoughs two games and this community kept me playing games through every bad thing and good thing going on around me at the time. Today i played with a newer member on Squad, 9-10 years later and realized i was missing something which was the community and the people in it. =D that's the history for me.
