    Default JA Minimiser

Right, compared to some members on here im a newbie at JKA and MBII.
I recently downloaded Q3E minimiser to use, and whenever I use it to minimise JKA to access Ventrilo for example, I can't see it as i stay on the Jedi Knight Screen.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Any Ideas what to do?
Thanks and its great being part of this clan.

I never tried Q3E with MBII as it was total overkill. I used a simpler minimizer. Anyways, I stopped using mine when I started using crossfire and windows 7 because it wouldn't minimize properly. Perhaps someone has a software suggestion for you, but what kind of graphics set up do you have? Card(s) and OS? Also, I think q3e has an option for dynamic resolution or something when minimizing, try turning that on.

Play in windowed mode. That's what I do. It takes some getting used to, but you can clearly see vent, and do other things too.

For example, if you get killed (As I often do) you can surf the internet or something while you are waiting for the round to restart.

Thanks Butters I will do that.
Is there any way to set a custom screen size? (E.g. Play in windowed mode but have it filling your screen.)

To set a custom res open the console (~) and type:
    /r_mode -1
    /r_customheight y
    /r_customwidth x

Set Y to your pixels for height and X for pixels for width.
This also lets you run MB2 at widescreens res, which is good.
You need to restart Mb2 every time to see the effect and re-enter all commands to set a new one.
