Awesome idea from what I glanced at, but one thing I found funny about it:

"No Subscriptions"

Then you look to the right bar area and there's a space for subscriptions. Now, I know it's a different kind of subscription (It's more of a monthly donation, than anything) and you don't have to subscribe to play. You only receive some fictional writing or something when you subscribe (Unless you get a high tier of subscription, then you get to get your questions answered or something).

I just found it funny that it said "No Subscriptions" then has a place for subscriptions still.

Isn't this the same guy that did Wing Commander series? I believe I heard about this a while back and how they reached their kickstarter goals in record time. I can't wait to play it.

Yep, Chris Roberts has worked on Wing Commander, Starlancer, and Freelancer. Probably a few other things too. If this can bring back some of the feeling and memory of playing Freelancer it should be great. Can't wait to get my hands on it, honestly.
