New Forum Style!

New forum style!

I'm hoping some of you noticed :P

This is not the final style. There is a lot of work left to be done, but the new style which is meant to work on the new vbulletin is ready for a test drive. Have a look around and let us know what you think.

We also need some ideas on a few things:

• How should we work the main AOD logo into the theme? I've considered adding next to the ClanAOD.net mini logo at the top, but that could get cluttered. I've also looked into adding it to the background like our previous themes, however, the new theme doesn't have as much transparency and it doesn't work out all that well.
• Obviously, this style is not customized for our sub-domains yet. I need some ideas on how to best modify the style that would allow us to keep a similar feel for all divisions but allow the divisions so uniqueness as well.

also, I just noticed as I am typing this that the text screen (where I type) is close to the same black as everything else. this makes it a little harder to find it.

I noticed that a couple days ago. Never tried to fix it. I found the color in the template and the text areas should be distinct now :)

Really like the new look ~ it's cleaner and much less cluttered. If it's one thing a lot of new members have difficulty with I think it was navigating around the place. This is already seems much better and easier.

When you get a new style it never does or has everything you want in it, you have to find what you like the best with a theme that best suits your needs, then you do the work of changing things to the way you want them, the new style did not come with the transparent graphics unfortuniately, it can be fixed but will take alot of work, other changes we will make as needed, keep in mind this is a New style and its not supposed to look like the old style, wouldn't be much point in changing styles if we wanted it to look the same, what were trying to accomplish is a new look similar to the old one but with updated technoligy and better graphics and with a more professional approch that is fitting to AOD. Feel free to leave comments and suggestions, we will certainly be reading them all and using some that we feel fit AOD as a whole.
