Squad Night Activities!

Hi guys!

Here is one activity for Squad Night.



It is.... THE UBER DEATH RACE OF DEATH. "Get a free Death with every order of 2 or more!"


The map is Pacific Hidden Base.


The rules are simple. First person to finish wins! Fly around the track while doing a circle around each corner pillar.

The catch is that as you **START** your second lap, you get to go "Weapons Hot." Basically, as you come around the starting pillar to start your second lap, you get to shoot down everyone in front of you.

The winner is often the fastest person, or the only survivor.


People caught cheating by leaving the track will be smoted by a referee in a Yak 9T.

Before the race, the Referee / Pace Car will lead everyone around so that they know the course decently enough.


And to make the UBER DEATH RACE OF DEATH even more fun, it'll happen over 2 fleets of Landing Crafts, and 2 fleets of destroyers, all of which are trying to shoot you down.

Blue line is the path to take, with the rough start showing. Also, the Red Dots are the pillars marking the crossover, and the exits from the center.

Sounds similar to the Panzacs Race mod for World of Tanks in which I was part of and have credit for creating the Herbie #53 T-50 Racer Skin. Would be interested in trying this out.

That's where the idea comes from. The World of Tanks division still does their Death Races, though in a slightly different manner.

SQUAD NIGHT IS TONIGHT! I had a reminder posted up on the Ventrillo Lobby. 8PM Eastern.




Another activity is called the Bufftastic Duels of the Buffs.


Premise is simple. Everyone gets their favorite bomber with defensive guns. And then using defensive guns only (no forward guns like the 4 .50's on the A20G, or the 5 / 6 on the B25) they shoot down other planes. The entire thing becomes a Free For All.

There will be 1 impartial referee on the opposite team. The referee will give the Weapons Hot call some 15-30 seconds after spawning.

Last buff standing WINS. Ramming, alliances, and everything else is legal, except no using fixed forward guns.

I am going to try and set up a little in clan competition say a 2v2 ladder, maybe a 3v3 or 4v4 if we can get enough people interested. And to make it interesting have defined classes such as flying reserves, tier 4 max, tier 7 max and an unlimited class. I will start a new thread for sign ups. And if we get enough participation maybe dannes will do an official ladder for us. I know we are all over the globe and at different times so maybe two brackets to accommodate as many time zones as we can. Let me know if you are interested and what times work best and we will see what we can throw together.

Another Death Race! This time it was on the Graveyards map.

The winners are as follows. Vaynard, BlackBishop X2, Hitcher X3, Dannes.


If we get enough people, say like 14 in the match, we'll set up teams for Team Death Race.
