    Hey,
I dont know if they are the best, i don't use such programs but i have seen them recommended before on other forums. It's probably mostly preference since all of those progs use the same internal sensors in your rig.

    Speedfan
SpeedFan is a program that monitors voltages, fan speeds and temperatures in computers with hardware monitor chips. SpeedFan can even access S.M.A.R.T. info and show hard disk temperatures.

    HMWMonitor
HWMonitor is a hardware monitoring program that reads PC systems main health sensors : voltages, temperatures, fans speed.
The program handles the most common sensor chips, like ITE® IT87 series, most Winbond® ICs, and others. In addition, it can read modern CPUs on-die core thermal sensors, as well has hard drives temperature via S.M.A.R.T, and video card GPU temperature.

I'm personally a big fan of GPU-Z. It is very light weight and runs as an executable, so you don't need to install it, just download and run the file. Keep in mind this only monitors GPU stats.

If you are interested in full system monitoring, I'd second VanDS's suggestion of HWMonitor. It's a good little program.

I don't know what make of graphic card you have, but MSI Afterburner is pretty detailed.

I heard MSI afterburner has some bloat wear. I am going with HWMontior, it (unlike GPU Z) has a fahrenheit option and is more detailed. All of that aside thanks for the help guys I appreciate it.

I use Speccy. It's made by Piriform (who also makes CCleaner and Defraggler) and it gives some pretty nice general information. It also gives temperatures, speeds, etc... Also, I use MSI Afterburner and I haven't experience any bloatware. You should probably get used to using Celsius as well. I've never heard of anybody using Fahrenheit to measure temperature for computer hardware.

Yeah, I figured that out when asking people if its ok for my graphics card to be 104 F and I get a "what?" lol.

    msi afterburner has no bloatware.

it is simply the afterburner program, and if you need to monitor frame rates, then the statistics module for it.

For really light weight monitoring, GPU-z works really well.

Since I already use afterburner, I use its monitoring tool, which goes beyond gpu-z

If you are okay with a paid solution, then AIDA64 is one of the best.
