It depends what you're looking for. You could get a cheap little headset from a local store that has electronics, or you could order something like Turtle Beaches, it depends.
I use the Antlion ModMic. It attaches onto any headset using adhesive and magnets. I've been using it for half a year and the adhesive is showing no signs of wearing off. The quality is superb and it is bendable to basically any extent. However, it's a bit expensive ($30) and it looks kinda ugly. Check it out at modmic.com.
it all depends on your budget for the microphone.
I currently use the blue microphone yeti http://www.amazon.com/Blue-Microphon...icrophone+yeti
I then run the audio through a multiband compressor where I can better tailor the audio for the different voice chats I use (for each I have a profile for when the mic is close and for when the mic is far since due to it's size I have to keep it at the far corner of the desk. but it works better than any headset that I have used (especially since unlike headsets, the mic does not break from repeated adjustment.
here is a review of the yeti https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91stf3gw-4Q
if you need to go cheaper eg th $50 range, then the Audio-Technica ATR2500 is an extremely good microphone for the price (it is still able to get that radio style voice)

Well,i will build best gaming computer and i will buy ASUS GTX 780 of NVIDIA.So they will give us this headset with mic for free : https://www.asus.com/HeadphonesHeads...akers/Echelon/
and here is the graphic card / engine that i will buy : http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX7803GD5/
unless you just won the lottery, I recommend not going with a top end videocard now.
When at a time of conesole generation transition (because like it or not, game engines are more expensive to make than any game so they tent to make them compatible with both PC and consoles, thus you wont find the most advanced and demanding rendering styles used.
the last time this happened you ended up with insanely expensive videocards that were overkill for current games (at the time) but when the xbox 360 and PS3 came out, previous flagship hogh end GPU's became obsolete very quickly and their performance was quickly exceeded by cheap mid range newer gen cards.
with the new xbox and the PS4 both supporting x86 and the latest rendering technologies supported by current GPU's any game that is released to take advantage of a next gen console and also run on the PC, will be able to take advantage of the full potential of the PC's GPU and since with any render method can usually be pushed to a higher level (eg where you may see 2xAA on the PS3, the same game on the PC will allow you to force 16xAA or higher, or where 256x textures will be used on the console 2048x textures will be used on the PC.
I advise against a new card until the first of the next gen games for the PC come out.
if you look at current major PC releases, (with the exception of games likecrysis and others in it's range)
most of the render methods used are what are supported by the xbox 360 and PS3, everything else is generally not used unless the company puts extra work into implementing 1 or 2 additional PC specific features and that are usually dx11 lighting and tessellation
everything esle is what is used by the console, just pushed further in terms of texture resolution and view distance.

I use a sony headset and it is very very nice. It has a volume slider for more voices or game sound. Also NVIDIA is excellent
