i had the privilege of going to the United States Air Force Museum in Dayton OH and got to see one of these brutes and i can say it is utterly massive and quite a thing to see. Would be interesting to see if it would ever be able to play a role in War thunder, since it was used during Korea.

From the number i just looked up the C17a is roughly 4 meters longer, wingspan is 20 meters shorter and 2.75 meters taller.

A lot of the jet fighters ingame are korea era so that shouldnt be a hurdle for them. The problem would be in balancing the game out to make it worth flying those. If it happens i'd be very surprise but it'd be definitely awesome to have such a behemoth around ingame lol.

All the old stuff is really cool, Super plans and super tanks. I want super stuff in today's age, not some jet that makes the pilots faint (F22 I am looking at you)

I don't think it would be difficult to balance. It would be a giant target, and even though it has a lot of 20mm defensive guns, it seems like the slightest damage would make the plane really hard to fly. Not to mention that the planes it would be flying against, like the Mig-15, fire 37mm guns.

Not to mention that you wouldn't be able to whip it around like a dive bomber. It would take long, long minutes to set up a bombing run. The only viable targets would be either the strategic targets, or the enemy's runway.

The problem is currently we can't even get Yer-2s off the current runways in the game. Gaijin would have to lengthen every runway in the game for even a chance of this thing being usable. Because once you run out of bombs, there will be no where safe to land, similar to the Yer-2 for me (But I'm just bad at flying that thing overall so I don't know.)

EDIT: Yes is does have a big payload but Gaijin won't put something 10x the B-17s payload in the game unless they buff bases in Tier 5 matches. (Tier 5 as in after 1.37 terms.)
