Cool! I'm looking for a header-style banner that can be the top of a recruitment post for AOD on the official Star Citizen forums.
Scroll about half way down this page and then look at the AOD logo with the join button under it. Thats a draft header for our recruitment thread. I like the way the logo is there standalone but I'd love to add this graphic you would make in at the bottom of the post content, which will fall below the three blue buttons.

I like the idea of steel/spacey-themed colours and textures, but the above example is too metal/steeley for me. I like the spinning planet concept but something...prettier would be good. Maybe some different colours.

It might be cool to have the planet spinning on the left or right side with a feature text in the center...whether that be our slogan or what doesnt matter to me (In Deep Space there are Bastards and Suckers: Make your choice) or simply "Join AOD" or something like that...have some creative freedom and fun and make something that looks awesome...does that sound good?

How about this as a starting point? I have a few different ideas for the animations: the logo could spin, a fire element, or something a little less flashy like glow around the edges.

Great start. Maybe a little longer, are you thinking the AOD logo spinning in the center of the grey backdrop?
