Oculus VR is a great way to get sea sick while playing videogames.
They'll start using it to treat videogame addiction in a pavlovian way.
well ya know he's got 25 billion he's got to toss it somewhere lol buying up whats app, buying VR maybe he's going to make facebook glass lol
I still want to believe this is an early April Fool's joke. It's also kind of funny how quickly Notch dropped the idea of Minecraft for the Oculus.
It's a fun peripheral...hopefully it'll continue to keep growing and improving, even with this management change. :)
Well, I guess I'm not buying that now. Luckily, Sony's Morpheus should also work on the PC, so I will be getting that instead. (Unless Valve decides to make one)

Palmer looks very serious.
They are allowing Oculus to operate independently of Facebook. From what I've read and deduced all they have done is invested a metric fuck-ton of money into the Rift project. I honestly see this as a good thing for Oculus. It'll give them the money they need to get things moving faster and get betting hardware. It's going to be a lot like Instagram. They were bought by facebook and operate independently. As far as I can see they haven't turned that into shit. Admittedly, I don't really use Instagram but my girlfriend does.
