Hey guys, I'm just curious on how most of you grinded to the US jets.
This is my current method: Use Prem Plane + Prem + x4 :D

very nice x4 there...
your recipe is right, however also fly the plane that leads into it on the the tree on a x2 or x4 .
So in that case, the f80c + premuim account + any premiuim rank 4's + daily X2 or X4 .
I always fly the direct research plane 1st , then any premium planes or etc...
and always fly the highest rank planes you can for a X2 or X4.
You will also find that a single talisman on a rank 5 plane is very helpful (gives 300% RP) in countries that have a lot of rank 5's to research.
I.e. i put a talisman on the first panther F9F, the first mig9 and the first metoer, those come in handy since their are no rank 5 premiums, they do great research on a x 2 or x4 if you have a good match with a rank 5 talisman .
Ahh the talisman, I always heard that these are useless, but I see the use in them now.
I did the same thing, premium account and US Spitfire. I'd usually feel bad about playing a plane that's so good, but spitfires are my favorite and I can never feel bad about sitting in the cockpit of one.
Get P-51 and get 300 more Player Kills plus B-17 bombing. ( dats wat I did )

1.39 = put talisman on a bearcat. profit.
This post in the Briefing Room explains how RP works:

Based on this flying another tier 5 plane is best and of course if it has a Tailsman even better.
Next is the plane directly above it.
However, I do recommend the B24 in RB as a good way to grind RP for a US Jet.
I try to grind them with .50 cal ammo but they usaly grind me up
Even using the Previous plane to unlock a jet would be slower than a prem plane right? Its 220% vs 180%x2(Prem Plane) so its 220% vs 360%.
If you add a talisman to the prev plane, you get 320% vs 360%?
Gently. Gingerly.
Maybe with some nice music to set the mood.
Ah, I do not worry too much.. I fly my P-51s (and occassionally the Prem Spit) and shoot stuff and (try) to hit pillboxes. Eventually I will get there, but I am in no hurry... :)
