But I honestly don't remember much about it as I only played it scarcely originally. Anyone have any pointers? I don't even remember how to get to multiplayer but I did run through some training missions for a refresher on controls. I'm an alright pilot in the bf series but this game feels a lot different.

Yea let the others in Vent get you going with pointers, just hop in and talk with anyone, only ERK or diamond might bite the others are pretty tame.
Also make sure your "instructor" is turned off, it makes a big difference =P .
Best pointer i can tell you other than that, if someone asks you "hey shattered...you like that plane??? check your six for an AOD"
