    Default CPU Upgrade

Here is my current build http://pcpartpicker.com/b/FzXLrH, I'am looking to upgrade the CPU as i am currently bottle necked by the FX8150's poor gaming performance. I'm looking to go to either the FX8350 or the FX9370... What is everyones opinions?

(i am not looking to switch over to Intel so no need to bring that up)

Im not sure what that is supposed to mean but it is working as advertised in my current build.

This isn't my first rodeo either, have built many pc's in the past and it is what i do for a living. This build is a constant work in progress and things are upgraded when time and money allow it. Merely looking for an opinion on what CPU to move to from my current build to improve performance.

That's completely false, an nvidia card WILL work with an AMD processor. http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/...good-idea.html, https://answers.yahoo.com/question/i...0013024AAz9Exp

I would recommend processors, but I have no experience with AMD, you may want to look up some benchmarks on tomshardware, Sorry :-)

If I recall correctly, the FX9370 is basically just a factory OC'd FX8350. Unless you're scared to OC your processor, I would say there is little to no need to get an FX9370. You can get the same performance out of the FX8350 for cheaper. I use the FX8350, and while I occasionally have performance issues with various games (Not sure if it's the CPU or that I have 2 680's in SLI or if it's a combination of them), overall it's a very good processor. I OC'd it to 4.6 ghz with little to no knowledge of how to OC. If you know what you're doing, and have the right hardware for it, you can easily go to 5.0 ghz.

I agree with RainbowDash. They are the same processor with different stock settings. If you know how to overclock then the fx8350 can easily be set to the same speed and even higher than the stock fx9370. Save your money and learn to overclock.
