    Default Video editing Software

    Just looking for some options. New to recording and uploading to youtube. I'm using Bandicam for recording, and looking for good editing software.

    So, What does everyone else use?? How much did it cost? Is it easy to pick up and learn?
    Thanks for any help.

    I use bandicam for recording and Movie Studio 13 Platinum. I love using it, it is great for editing, there is a little bit of learning to do (But as is with most software). I found it pretty easy to use and it costs $79.95 but at the end of the free 14 day trial they send you a %20 off coupon for it.

    I currently use adobe premiere pro. it works great for more fine grained edits, e.g., if you need to go to the individual frame level and also do color correction and color grading, but if only basic editing is needed, then you can probably get away with a free editor such as windows movie maker which will allow for basic correction and just positioning video and audio clips on a timeline.

    I use open Broadcaster to capture and Vegas to edit.

    Whatever you use, try to use seperate drives for input and output. It will speed your render/workflow considerably. And if one goes bad, you have either your final work, or the ability to recreate it still :)

    There is plenty of freeware for editing, I spent the $$$ on Vegas because I use it quite often. I seem to be the go-to guy at the job...

    My stuff did not cost a bit xD

    Recording Software
    Fraps = Cracked (Great but huge files)
    OBS = Free (It's good ^^)
    Shadowplay = Free (If you got Nivida card and this is best option)
    Dxtory = Cracked (Good with alot of options, slight worse HD than fraps but not so huge files)

    Editing Sofware
    Sony Vegas Pro = Cracked (This is the best edit software for me :D)

    Worst case scenario (and I do mean worse) you could use Window's Movie Maker!
