    Geekout Sound card setup for battlefield 4

    Hi there can anyone here help me set up my sound card for my PC to get a better gaming experience I have an ASUS Xonar DX 7.1 and I play battlefield 4 most of the time.

    Avoid having the soundcard apply any audio "enhancements" Basically all you need to do is configure it to the number of speakers you have, and if it has the option for stereo surround, then enable that (this allows stereo audio to play through all speaker pairs that have a left and right channel when stereo audio is being played, while at the same time allowing surround sound audio files and games, to continue addressing each audio channel individually. (great if you have a 5.1 speaker system and still want all speakers to be used when listening to music.

    Other than that, at most, adjust the equalizer to compensate for any areas the headphones or speakers are lacking.

    What are you trying to gain exactly by adjusting your sound card?
