Magic The Gathering Idea

If anyone here plays Magic the Gathering, would you be interested in getting together some days and Skyping to play it? I just recently got my first core set deck (Siege Dragon) and am interested in getting all the practice I can get, let me know if any are interested/if this ideas possible.

Sure, I'd love to, I have a buddy that kinda plays too. If you're down to learn a lot about the game, we can play legacy, I have cards all the way back from Alpha and Ice Age.

Perfect, and it don't matter if it's "Tourney" legeal or not, I just wanna scrim for fun and to get the hang of the plays my deck has.

I play quite a lot. A lot is in every day. If I'm not at the card shop I'm online playing MTGO. I mostly play commander but also play modern and standard.

I also play my fair share of MtG, although I've only started recently (few months that is) I have put some time and effort in, and have a few alright decks.

Well mono-blue and mono blue devotion(which is a current standard meta deck) play really differently. Blue IMO is the least fun to play or play against. Basically you say " you can't play your deck, so I win"

There is also 'Magic The Gathering Online', which is a client based adaptation of the physical card game. Not to be confused with the "Duels of the Planeswalkers" games you can get on Steam.

It functions the same as if you had physical cards. You buy core sets, boosters, pre-made decks, event tickets, has a marketplace for you to buy and sell cards and more.

Sorry for the double post but some people may hesitate thinking that when new blocks come out, you can't play with the old ones any more.

This isn't true, as MTGO has many game types you can play, including Legacy, which allows decks with cards from old sets. Lots of people play Legacy so finding a match is never a problem.

I would do this. I just made a killer Simic deck. Also, does anyone play the newer game Future card Buddyfight. I know it is a stupid name but it is just as good as magic.

However, if we were to do this on Skype, we would have to have someone to pay for us but on Google+ it is free. Also the only webcam I have is on my dad's mac that is oldish. (I couldn't stop him)

An Abzan infect deck. (Also known as Junk and Necra)
A very early stage version of a mono black. I attempted to build this after building a insane one on the M15 Planeswlker game, but it didn't turn out well...
That Simic control/big creature deck I mentioned earlier.
A VERY incomplete mill deck. Some guy at my school stole all the good mill cards from it like my bloody tomes, tome scours and my two mythic rares in the deck. The only reason I have to believe to believe he stole it is that he has stolen many, many people's cards, including my ex's Weiß Schwarz triple rares.
