Did he have 9 planes to his Disposal? My max is 6...
As far as my max, most I've shot down is 17. Seems my limit for the moment, got to it 3 times now, but the 18th just hasn't happened yet. As for RB I don't know, hardly play that mode.

I think my highest is 7 or 8 in RB with my fabulous Beaufort.
I do not remember my highest in AB... must not have been very impressive.

My highest is 14 in AB and 11 in RB. In both matches no enemies come to attack me so i'm free to attack anyone i want.

My best match air-kill-wise was a recent match in the Me410 B6/R3: 8 Kills, 4 of them bots (B17s on Bulge).

My highest kill count was 26 kills while having 2 deaths. Obviously that was in Arcade.

As Zoscho said, it's a few elements that make it possible.. but i'd also add, THE MAP on which the game is played. I love Mozdok for that.. :)
