So, apparently, these terrorists threatened to kill SOEs president, then publicly announced they were DDoSing several big games. Yeh know, it's all fun and games when they're playing with each other, but when they start messing with MY fun and games, then there's a problem.

I believe in the use of hackers against hackers, just like in the drama TV show Criminal Minds like when Penelope Garcia first arrived as a hacker and was offered a position to help and reduce sentence and then became a full time tech. we do have some here in the states, and I do believe some work with the government.

Didn't they start out as a normal hacker group? It wasn't until after the PSN hack that they went completely insane, with the whole ISIS thing. I wonder what happened?

So each time I've gone to sign into WoW the last couple weeks, they're getting DDoSed so I end up waiting for like 2 hours. I used to have an SOE account with tons of awesome stuff for a bunch of their games like PS2 or STO, but I tihnk that's in the hands of Chinese farmers now. What they're doing is essentially attacking big business and mkaing money off it any way they can, they'll steal accounts that are worth it, then turn to the gold farmers, account pawners, and botters that work for companies in places like China and Thailand, sell it to them, where they in turn sell it back to Europeans and Americans at an inflated price. It's like a new form of civilian warfare, and it's way more prevalent than real world skirmishes.
