Question about Arma3/Dayz Division?

If one wishes to play in the arma 3 division, is it dayz standalone or the mod for arma 3 that I have to own?

If it's standalone, do I have to still buy arma 3 to be in this division since it also has some Dayz action going on?

Because I haven't bought arma 3 yet, only Dayz SA. Anyways just wondering how that works.

The Arma 3 division is closing down, unfortunately. So it doesn't really matter if you buy it or not.

We had a DayZ division before, and it merged with Arma 3 and then faded away. So no, we won't likely have a division again for it.

We will however be taking a look at H1Z1 if you would like to whet your appetite for zombie games with AOD.
