Default I had my account banned for unfair reasons.

Hey, all. Not many of you may know me, but I'm a part time member of the AOD BF4 division. My main division is Planetside 2.
Now, I'm pretty sure that yesterday (Sunday, January 18, 2015), someone gained illegal access to my Origin account. They bought two games, tried to buy another (it failed) with my credit card information. That matter has been cleared up now, but I'm sure they also accessed my Battlelog account. Because of this, they probably did something or other to get me banned from the game. I'm trying to contact EA Support right now, but I just thought I'd let you guys know of this first-hand.
    Thanks, guys.

Update: Well, it seems the issue has been resolved. I can now access my Battlelog account again. Sorry for the problem(s) guys, and I hope this doesn't happen again.

If there is any type of credit card chargeback, it's in EA's TOS to ban the associated Origin account. In the event that this happens to anyone else, a simple chat with the folks over at EA should remedy this. Oh, and change your passwords if you haven't within the last 2-3 months.

Yup, there was something in the news a while back about origin accounts being leaked.

Change that password often, Origin seems to get hacked quiet a lot.

I'll say it again in this post as well, please guys, turn on 2 step verification for origin. They added it a little while ago exactly for this.

Thanks for all of the suggestions, guys. I've set a new password and activated the 2 step verification. I don't want this to happen again, obviously.

2 step emailed to a gmail account with 2 step text verification is basically impossible to break, that's how i have it set up for both origin and steam.
